Workwell
What is WorkWell?
WorkWell is a free and dedicated service that can help you if you’re struggling to find or keep a job due to physical and/or mental health challenges. The WorkWell programme is completely voluntary. Your interaction with the service will have no impact on your benefits and you can withdraw from the programme at any point.
Who can WorkWell support?
They can support people who:
- have a health challenge that is preventing them from working, or
- are at risk of being out of work due to a health challenge.
Which services do WorkWell work with?
They have a team of trained work and health coaches who can work with you to understand your needs and help you develop a personalised support plan. This may include connecting you to a range of local services and support, for example:
- Financial advice and debt management
- Employment advice and support
- Health and wellbeing services
- Housing advice
- Training and skill development
- Relationships and domestic abuse
- Home adaptations
- Carer support
- Substance misuse
How to apply
You can apply on the WorkWell website. Select the hub that is closest to you, fill in the short form and a work and health coach will contact you. There is no need to be logged into the system to apply to join the programme.
If you are supporting someone with their referral, please make sure that you have discussed this with them, and they are in agreement.
